Why recycle your gold?

Mining new gold is hugely destructive, a single ring can generate around 20 tonnes of mined waste. Recycling the gold already above ground avoids that, and your old jewellery is refined and remade rather than left in a drawer.

Recycling with us costs you nothing and pays you a fair price: we assay by XRF, value against the daily LBMA spot price, and donate a proportion of our profit to WWF UK. So you support sustainability and get paid for it.

FAQ

Find the answer to your questions and submit your request

What happens to gold I recycle?

It is refined back to pure gold and returned to the supply chain to be remade into new jewellery and other products, reducing the need for newly mined gold.

Do I still get paid if I recycle?

Yes. Recycling and selling are the same thing here: you receive a fair offer based on the LBMA spot price and are paid within a minute of accepting.

How does this help the environment?

Recycled gold avoids the enormous waste and energy of new mining, and we donate a share of our profit to WWF UK on top.

What gold can I recycle?

Any gold: jewellery, scrap, coins, dental gold and more. Hallmarks aren't needed because we assay the real gold content.
