FAQ

How do you decide what my gold is worth?

We confirm purity by XRF assay, weigh your gold, and pay a percentage of the live LBMA spot price for that carat. The current per-gram rates are shown in the table above.

Is posting gold safe?

Yes. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is tracked, signed for and insured to £750, and you keep proof of posting. For higher values we ask you to split items across separate insured bags.

Do I need hallmarks?

No. Our XRF assay measures the actual gold content, so unmarked and foreign-marked items are valued accurately.

Is there a minimum amount?

No minimum to get an offer. For very small amounts the value may be modest, but the pack, postage and valuation are always free.
