Which gold coins we buy

We buy bullion and old gold coins including Sovereigns, Krugerrands, Britannias, American Eagles and Canadian Maples. Each coin is assayed and weighed, and valued on its gold content against the daily LBMA spot price.

For higher-value coin collections we split parcels across separate insured Special Delivery bags so the whole shipment stays covered. If a coin has collectable value beyond its metal, tell us and we'll take that into account.

Which coins do you accept?

Common bullion and old gold coins such as Sovereigns, Krugerrands, Britannias, American Eagles and Canadian Maples, plus most other gold coins.

How are coins valued?

Bullion coins are valued on their gold content at the LBMA spot price. Where a coin has genuine numismatic value above its metal, let us know and we'll factor that in.

How are higher-value parcels insured?

Each Special Delivery bag is insured to £750, so we ask you to split valuable collections across multiple bags to keep everything covered.

Is there a maximum parcel value?

No fixed maximum, but please split high values across insured bags. Get in touch first if you're sending a large collection.
