Selling silver: please read first

We accept sterling silver (925) and pure silver, assayed by XRF and valued against the daily LBMA silver spot price. Silver is worth far less per gram than gold, so we want to be upfront about the terms before you send anything.

Free insured return only applies when your parcel contains at least 10g of precious metal, and a £15 admin fee applies to silver consignments. If you're sending a small amount of silver, it may not be worthwhile, so please weigh up the figures first.

FAQ

Find the answer to your questions and submit your request

What silver do you accept?

Sterling silver (925) and pure silver. Our XRF assay confirms the purity of each item.

What is the 10g threshold?

Free insured return of your items only applies when the parcel contains at least 10g of precious metal. Below that, return postage isn't covered.

Is there a fee for selling silver?

Yes, a £15 admin fee applies to silver consignments, reflecting the lower value of silver versus gold.

Is it worth selling small amounts of silver?

Often not, given silver's low per-gram value and the admin fee. Check the current spot price and weigh up the figures before sending.
